Optional cookies
Analytics, marketing and other non-essential cookies are only activated after you have provided the necessary consent.

You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Disabling essential cookies may restrict certain website functions.
9. Language Selection and TranslatePress
This website may use TranslatePress to provide content in multiple languages.
TranslatePress may store a cookie or similar browser information to remember the language selected by the visitor. This information is used exclusively to display the website in the selected language.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing the website in the language selected by the visitor.

Pages on this website may contain content or functions supplied by third parties, such as videos, maps, social-media links, scheduling services or externally hosted media.
When external content is loaded, the third-party provider may receive information including your IP address, browser data and the page you visited.
Where such content is not technically necessary, it will only be loaded after you have provided consent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Ordinary links to external websites do not automatically transfer data to those websites. Data is transferred only after you follow the respective link.
Each external provider is responsible for its own processing activities. Please consult the provider’s privacy policy for further information.
Vimeo video
Our home page offers a short introduction video. The video is hosted by Vimeo.com, Inc., New York, USA (“Vimeo”). The page itself only contains a link that opens the video in a pop-up window.
The Vimeo player is not loaded when you open a page. No connection to Vimeo is established until you click the video link and the pop-up window opens. Vimeo then receives your IP address, browser and device information, the address of the page from which you opened the video and the time of the request.
We use Vimeo’s do-not-track setting for the player. With this setting Vimeo is asked not to track your viewing behavior. Vimeo may still set cookies that are required for the security and operation of the player.
By clicking the video link and opening the video window, you request the video and consent to this data transfer. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by closing the video window and not opening the video again.
Vimeo is based in the USA. Vimeo states that it participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where appropriate (see section 15).
Further information is available in Vimeo’s privacy policy: vimeo.com/privacy.
13. Social-Media Links
This website may include links to our profiles on third-party social-media platforms.
These links do not establish a connection with the respective platform merely because you visit our website. A connection is only established after you click the link.
When visiting an external social-media platform, the platform provider’s privacy policy and terms apply.

Personal data may be disclosed to service providers when this is necessary to operate the website, respond to inquiries or fulfil contractual and legal obligations.

Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area or may be operated by companies based in countries outside the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection, we use appropriate safeguards as required by Articles 44–49 GDPR. These may include adequacy decisions, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and additional technical or organizational safeguards.
Where a transfer is based on consent, the legal basis is Article 49(1)(a) GDPR.
Information about specific international transfers will be provided in the section describing the relevant external service.
16. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access.

No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Our safeguards are therefore reviewed and adapted where appropriate.
17. Storage Duration
We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Inquiries are generally retained for the duration required to process and follow up on the communication.
If an inquiry results in a contractual relationship, relevant information may be retained for the duration of the contract and for any subsequent statutory retention period.
Business and tax documents may be retained for the periods required under applicable commercial and tax law.
Data processed on the basis of consent is retained until consent is withdrawn, unless another legal basis or statutory retention requirement applies.
When personal data is no longer required and no statutory retention obligation applies, it is deleted or anonymized.
18. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the relevant processing activity, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
Article 6(1)(a) GDPR: consent
